Hammerhead Studios provides a one-stop-shop with over ten years experience in the design, construction, installation and decoration of recording and video studios in South Africa. These range from high-end studios that compare with the best internationally, to small drumming rooms in private homes.
Studios are individually designed to control audio reflections for purposes such as music recording, voiceovers, video conferencing, radio and television advertisements, and even full orchestras.
A typical recording studio consists of two spaces: one for performing artists (bands, singer, voice over artist, etc) and a control room, which houses the equipment needed to record, route and manipulate the recorded sound.
Hammerhead carefully designs studios around the principles of room accoustics to create a set of spaces with the necessary properties required to record sound with precision and accuracy.

This will consist of room treatments and soundproofing through the use of our patented acoustic panels that work as absorption and defusion materials on the surface of the room and to provide sonic isolation between the rooms.
Hammerhead does it all: design, construct and decorate (including flooring and furniture) to the installation of all hardware and software that is needed to run a studio.
